Minor Spoilers

This page contains minor spoilers. The best way to learn about the monsters in DDRogue is to fight them!

Introduction

This page lists most (all?) of the monsters you can encounter in DDRogue.

Ferret

Often found burrowing around in caves, these skittish creatures will attack those they see as threats. Goblins are known to keep and train ferrets to assist in hunting.

Rat

Found in caves and dungeons, rats are omnivorous and, when hungry, will attack anything that looks edible.

Goblin

Small, annoying and far too accurate with their simple thrown weapons. Goblins are a pest.

Spider

Found in dark, wet caves, these spiders are about two feet across and pack a nasty bite. The orcs seem to like them, for some reason.

Goblin Witchdoctors

When goblins have a problem, they go to their witchdoctors. Witchdoctors spend a lot of time with the corpses of dead animals. Even the goblins think their witchdoctors are a mixed blessing.

Bugbear

A cross between a goblin and an orc, they are shunned by both. Still, they're bigger than goblins and even the orcs don't mess with them without a good reason.

Orc

Bigger and meaner than goblins they like to get up close and personal. Mostly nocturnal they are often found patrolling their lairs and beating up on any smaller creatures they find.

Orc Shamans

Bigger than most orcs, shamans typically are attended by several of their lesser brethren. They are rumoured to be able to channel a small amount of magic energy at will.

Undead

Details are scant on the nature of undead creatures, resurrected and made to do the bidding of the dread necromancers.
